Horrror Character Analysis

For the character I have chosen to analyze I am unable to place a picture for a few reasons, this is due to the fact that the character I have chosen to analyze is the idea of perception in the movie Tucker and Dale VS Evil. I would be unable to place a picture of what perception is because it is different all the time and you can never have two perceptions that are the same, although against this the idea of perception is still initially a character due to the fact that it is what causes the mayhem and chaos that appears throughout the movie. the best way to explain it is that during the entire movie there was no real motivation to kill anyone but instead the motivation was to survive, the death that came to each character in the movie was brought upon them by their perception of what happened to each other and in their own eyes all they saw was death by the others hand. It was this perception that then lead the characters to try and murder each other to survive, now before you say that perception is not a living being or a character allow me to explain something old about how Japanese media used to work. During the 14th century the Japanese would use stagehands dressed in full black to move props across the stage during the play, it was known that the viewer were to ignore them as it the objects were moving on their own, however, one writer created a unique story where the stagehands, who were supposed to be ignored and thought little of, would then kill a main character. So even though the stagehands were meant to be non-existent in the play they were still taken as characters from then on under the name ninjas due to the effect they had on the other actors of the play, this links to my idea of the character of perception due to the fact that the perception of each character was nothing more than a thing of the mind yet these ideas that got into their heads caused them to go and kill themselves over stupid and trivial matters.
the character of perception is both scary and biased, its different between every person in the film and has no real image other than the faces of its victim. It can be linked to the deformed monster that fills the whole poster since it has no form and that in itself is a deform, since every character in the movie has it then any character on the poster or film magazine will also have it and therefore it is the main article of every advertising image.
