Diabolique is a horror magazine that deals with all the different types of horror from the original silent films to the comedy horrors, almost like a connoisseur of horror. the front page is very well layed out with the main image showing the main characters of different horror movies across the page, the characters include Shaun from Shaun of the dead, Frankenstein and the gremlins. All the magazine content is placed in short bursts around the front cover such as the actress and movies on the bottom right side with the date/issue and price in the top left, the barcode is on the bottom left out of view and underlines the ''evolution of horror comedy'' sub heading. the characters from these movies have been re-drawn to match the same art style as everyone else on the front page, the title has been distorted to twist across the top of the page and a group of other famous characters are lain across the top of that, characters like Edgar Allan Poe or Dracula.
